Shunichiro Tachibana Season 1: Main Story
*cracks my knuckles* okay, y'all ready for this review, it's going be a long one. NO SPOILERS SO NO WORRIES! just straight up opinion on characters, story, plot & MC yadada straight up i'm giving you a review. to start off, y'all know this game is most definitely warning 18+ LOL like yo the smut is on point like damn.. like hello! come on the story starts off from a one night stand, that's literally how it all begins! which i'm like damn MC, you getsum HAHA because like from what it feels like MC is usually an inexperienced, not sexual person in most of voltage inc's games, like literally she loses her virginity to the guy you pick's route usually tbh LOL BUT NOPE NOT THIS ONE, the guy who's route you'll choose literally makes her feel like no other man has ever made her feel.. -fans myself- like BOIIII i feels the bloody nose coming on. so grab your glass of water ya thirsty hoes (like myself not gonna lie) & get ready to read my review.
so this route is your boss, the hot, calm, collected, seems like the perfect guy & MC's idol inspiration to why she be working this job making commercials. first off,
THE GUY: SHUNICHIRO TACHIBANA - DUDE IS NOTHING LIKE ANY OTHER "poster boy" (dude who is on the icon's picture), main guy / main story focus dude.. like if y'all played any voltage game you know what i mean.. *cough* EISUKE, YAMATO, ICHIGO, MIYABI, AYATO, & NOBUNAGA *cough* you know your typical mean teasing not so nice guy, tough on mc & usually like messes with MC because usually MC is a push over (not this MC though, i'll get to that later in her own section) nah nah, this guy ain't like that at all.. HE LITERALLY PUSHES IN A NICE WAY TO MC TO BE A BETTER PERSON IN A GOOD WAY BECAUSE HE BELIEVES IN HER & HER STRONG POINTS AT WORK. like omg i was like wow, he's so nice too?? like seriously he's lowkey (not rly it's pretty highkey af but you know for story angst "they don't realize it") thoughtful as hell towards her, always telling her that her work is good & could be even better... like yo... I WAS SO SURPRISED, I HONESTLY EXPECTED HIM TO BE MEANER even his teasing wasn't that bad, it was more flirty as hell like ayeeee boi..... you already know MC wants your dick.. LOLOL scoundrel haha. work is his number 1 priority, he really know like how to be a good boss & manage everyone (mc & all them other dudes) & like he has a cute McDonald's loving side ok, if that ain't cute, like come on.. you'd never expect that in this route either just like how he's not like any other "main guy"! he has his own flaws too, he literally isn't mr.perfect like how all the other main guys usually act like they're the perfect gods or something sometimes.. honestly IF I HAD TO COMPARE HIM TO ANY VOLTAGE GUY, i'd say KOJURO KATAKURA FROM SLBP, bc older dude, caring for MC in older boyfriend kinda way & is hot, knows how to handle situations & mature af??? like yeah that's my best guy comparison.
MC: INSERT YOUR NAME HERE - FIRST IMPORTANT ASS THING... MC HAS EYES Y'ALL! IN THE CG'S SHE GOTS EYES! OK SO, OMG I LOVE THIS MC? SO RELATABLE.. LIKE i remember the first picking options were like "picture him in bed" or "picture him kissing you" LIKE YO GIRL I FEEELS YA! like okay usually MC all like shy & shit but no this one like girl knows what she wants & like this is a more bold, not afraid to work hard for what she wants, career driven af & the most important difference is that she's sexually liberated.. like yo, if she's feeling it, she's feeling it, real af. course she is still unsure about things, but at least she's not a push over at all, like she literally makes fun of her man & they have cute banter with each other (like especially after they've done the deed... HAHA) i seriously feel like we need more MC's like this who when she knows she's done with this shit of fooling around & wants something serious she will say it! yeah there is still things she won't say, etc. there is no MC that is the perfect MC, she still has flaws & is emotional, just like how we all are cause come on it's our feelings of love on the line & we gotta be emotional ya know?? it's just feels like a more raw & real MC then we've had in awhile.
how do i feel about THE STORY PLOT?! - i personally thought the story plot was played out really well, it took me on a good type of emotional rollercoaster that was like the angst was easier to deal with feeling because the two characters (MC & her man) really have a type of connection that you know is strongly there & you feel super sure it's gonna somehow work out in the end without any like worried that shit's gonna hit the fan hard, like no it didn't compared to like other types of plot where that would happen?? i'm trying to figure out how to state my thoughts without spoiling.. so like overall in my best short way to describe how i felt about the story plot, i liked how both MC & her guy got to grow both in work & emotionally together as they like got closer, because he isn't the perfect guy either like she idealized him to be & she's more like him than she knows it too, a hard worker.
extra things to mention: you got a childhood guy friend & a hoe best girl friend, they really are there for MC, like most best friend side characters are usually & have more inputs, especially your guy childhood friend. (ok but why doesn't childhood guy friend have a route?? pls?? just for the hell of it?? cause he's cute too?? i love childhood friend trope okay) the hoe girl friend is a hoe but like at least she's not annoying or anything like some "best friends" can be in these games.
OVERALL: i really enjoyed it, it was refreshing to play this game because it feels new & not like a repeat storyline like any other voltage game i've played & i seriously can't wait till more of Shun's story is released & the other characters too.. like i can already see how all the guys are all homies too like how the other voltage games are with everyone's squads. i can't wait to see how deep MC & her guy's love will go & for sub stories etc.!!
